Take control. Invest responsibly.

At Helveteq, we take responsibility across all areas of our business. ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) considerations are part of how we develop our services and investment products. Internal guidelines support us in approaching sustainability topics in a structured and pragmatic way.
What ESG means to us

What ESG means to us

We see ESG as a helpful framework to identify and reflect on factors that may influence long-term value creation, risk management, and stakeholder expectations.

We recognise that ESG-related standards and views are evolving. Instead of aiming for a perfect scorecard, we focus on continuous improvement—fostering transparency, inclusion, and trust in the way we operate.

These principles are part of our broader business mindset.

Our company

ESG aspects influence how we work, particularly with respect to environmental and social topics. Governance, meanwhile, remains a cornerstone of all key decisions.

For us, governance goes beyond compliance. It includes a commitment to openness and dialogue with regulators, academic institutions, NGOs, and other stakeholders across the financial ecosystem.

Our products

The investment universe for our products is global, just like our clients. Investment strategies and decisions are defined by our partners and product originators. We are exploring innovative approaches to ESG. For example, blockchain-based assets pose environmental challenges, particularly in terms of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

We quantify these emissions and voluntarily contribute to certified climate projects that aim to reduce, avoid, or remove emissions. These projects often provide additional social and environmental benefits at the local level. To ensure traceable climate action, we use internationally certified carbon credits to offset these emissions.

Our partners

We collaborate with partners who value sustainability and are open to developing robust, data-driven ESG methodologies.

One such collaboration is our long-standing partnership with the Swiss FinTech Innovation Lab at the University of Zurich. Together, we have developed a lifecycle-based model for assessing and compensating the carbon footprint of blockchain-based financial products.

Helveteq Our Projects

Our projects

We source carbon credits exclusively from projects certified under internationally recognised standards, including:

  • Clean Development Mechanism (CDM)
  • Verified Carbon Standard (VCS)
  • Gold Standard

These frameworks ensure the credibility, traceability, and additionality of the offsets. Our ESG-related claims are reviewed on a regular basis by independent third parties.
